Radiation Safety Operations

Health Physics Society

 

The Health Physics Society has been committed to radiation safety since our society first learned of it's dangers. In 1997 they created an official section of the HPS with the Radiation Safety Operations section. RSO is committed to gathering and interpreting radiation safety information, providing a forum in which regulation issues can be discussed, providing professional development withing safety organizations, developing standards in the radiation industry which creates a safe working environment, and providing section members with open lines of communication.
